Sika Titan Solo Primerless Windscreen Adhesive is a primerless to glass, one-component direct glazing adhesive. It is easy to apply and has a paste-like consistency. Sika Tooling Agent N is designed to smooth the surface of freshly applied Sikaflex adhesives and sealants. In tested Cases, Sika Tooling Agent N has been shown not to affect paint finishes. However, in critical cases, we recommend a pre-test in order to evaluate compatibility, especially with fresh and/or water-based paints. Black Sika Primer 206 G Plus P is a solvent-based black primer which reacts with moisture and forms a thin layer. This layer acts as a link between substrates and adhesives. Sika® Primer-206 G+P is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika’s 1-component Polyurethanes.

Areas of Application:
Sika Primer-206 G+P is used to give improved adhesion in adhesive bonding applications on substrates such as glass, ceramic coated glass, and painted surfaces. Sika Primer-206 G+P can also be used on other substrates such as plastics and some metals. This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions, especially boundary temperature conditions have to be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

Method Of Application:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust and contaminants. Adhesion on substrates may be improved by adding and/or combining pre-treatment processes such as scuffing and cleaning. Pre-treat the bond face of the substrates with Sika® Aktivator-100 using the wipe-on, wipeoff method and allow flashing-off.

Application:
Shake the Sika® Primer-206 G+P can very thoroughly until mixing ball rattles freely. Continue shaking for another minute and apply a thin but covering coat with a brush, felt or foam applicator. Ideal application and surface temperature are between 15 °C and 25 °C (59 °F and 77 °F). Sika® Primer-206 G+P has to be applied once only. Care must be taken to ensure that this single application gives adequately dense coverage. Consumption and method of application depend on the specific nature of the substrates. Tightly reseal container immediately after each use.

Organic Solvent Sika Remover 208 is used to remove traces of Sikaflex products as well as for cleaning painted substrates. Sika Remover-208 is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 / 14001, quality assurance system and with the responsible care program.

Areas of Application:
Sika Remover-208 can be used to remove uncured excess Sikaflex adhesive or sealant from application tools or soiled surfaces. Sika Remover-208 can also be used for pre-cleaning strongly contaminated non-porous substrates. Sika Remover-208 can be used to clean painted surfaces prior to bonding. Use Sika Remover-208 according to the Sika Pre-treatment Chart. This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Method of Application:
Removal of uncured adhesive Remove the bulk of the Sikaflex® residue with a knife or spatula. Moisten a rag or towel with Sika® Remover® -208 and wipe off the remaining adhesive or sealant. Surface cleaning Wipe painted surfaces with a moistened rag or towel with Sika® Remover -208. Wet the paper towel by pouring the Sika® Remover 208 onto the cloth. Do not dip towel into the can as there is risk of contamination. Wipe the surface with the wetted paper towel. Use fresh paper towels regularly in order to maximize cleaning power and minimize recontaminating surface. Before the solvent evaporates, wipe off with a fresh, clean, dry paper towel. Repeat above process as necessary until no contaminant is visible on a clean paper towel. Do not use on sensitive surfaces such as fresh paints, particularly one pack air drying paint systems. Reseal container immediately after use.

Sika Aktivator 100 Solvent Based Adhesion Promoter For Various Substrates is a solvent-based colorless adhesion promoter, which reacts with moisture and deposits active groups on the substrate. These groups act as a link between substrates and primers or sealants/adhesives. Sika® Aktivator-100 is specifically formulated for the treatment of bond faces prior to application of Sika’s 1-component Polyurethanes.

Areas Of Application:
Sika® Aktivator-100 is used to improve adhesion on substrates such as float glass, ceramic screen prints, the cut face of old polyurethane adhesives and paints. This activator is also suitable to enhance the adhesion of Sikasil® sealants and adhesives on non-porous substrates.

Seek manufacturer’s advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sika® Aktivator-100 on materials prone to stress cracking. This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed to ensur.

Method of Application:
Method of Application Wipe bond faces with a clean lint free paper towel moistened with Sika® Aktivator-205. Change paper towel after each wipe. If pretreated area is not bonded after 2 hours the activation process has to be repeated (max. 2 times). Ideal application and surface temperature is between 15°C and 25°C (60 - 75°F). Consumption depends on the specific nature of the substrates and manufacturing process. Tightly re-seal container immediately after each use. Prolonged exposure to atmospheric moisture will cause Sika® Aktivator-205 to become opaque/cloudy and therefore inactive. Discard any product in this condition. Flash-off times may vary depending on climatic conditions.

Method of Application:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and dust. Apply Sika® Aktivator using the wipe-on, wipe-off method and allow flashing off. Shake the can of Sika® Primer-206 G+P very thoroughly until mixing ball rattles freely. Continue shaking for another minute and apply a thin but covering coat with a brush, felt pad or foam applicator. Ideal application and surface temperature is between 15°C and 25°C (60°F to 75°F). Consumption and method of application depend on the specific nature of the substrates and manufacturing process. Sika® Primer-206 G+P should be applied once only. Care must be taken to ensure that this single application gives adequately dense coverage. Tightly re-seal container immediately after each use.

Method of Application: 
Removal of uncured adhesive Remove the bulk of the Sikaflex® residue with a knife or spatula. Moisten a rag or towel with Sika® Remover® -208 and wipe off the remaining adhesive or sealant. Surface cleaning Wipe painted surfaces with a moistened rag or towel with Sika® Remover -208. Wet the paper towel by pouring the Sika® Remover 208 onto the cloth. Do not dip towel into the can as there is risk of contamination. Wipe the surface with the wetted paper towel. Use fresh paper towels regularly in order to maximize cleaning power and minimize recontaminating surface. Before the solvent evaporates, wipe off with a fresh, clean, dry paper towel. Repeat above process as necessary until no contaminant is visible on a clean paper towel. Do not use on sensitive surfaces such as fresh paints, particularly one pack air drying paint systems. Reseal container immediately after use.
